birth name~ Serina Lantabellum
nicknames~ "Rina"
age && date of birth~ 29, October 15th
gender~ Female
sexuality~ Straight
occupation~ Seamstress
face claim~ A model named Kira?
canon / original~ From my head.
``case file~
hair color~ Red. Strawberry blond? It can take on a goldish tint.
eye color~ Dark green.
height~ 5'4"
weight~ 109
physical flaws~ A long, thick scar runs down her right forearm to the top of her wrist--the doing of her brother. She tries to hide it the best she can, but when reaching for things or stretching it'll lift her sleeves just a bit and reveal what she wish wasn't there. She tells herself it's so noticeable because it happened not even 3 months ago. It'll fade. She also has a thin, small scar on the top of her left eyebrow. Barely noticeable, only those with the keenest eyes have caught it.
general appearance~ Serina Lantabellum is a women of small stature. Her high cheekbones, pale, smooth complexion, and striking green eyes give her a beauty that stands out. Her thick, long goldish-red hair frames her face very nicely and is always noticed by those that are jealous. Her hair is never unkempt. Serina used to love her hair and eyes. She barely had to make an attempt to appear pretty, make-up was never an issue. Now, she doesn't like being noticed and beauty gets you noticed. Her small hands and dainty wrists give her an almost child-like appearance, which troubles her. It makes her look younger than she is, which makes others feel she isn't as efficient at her job as a seamstress. Though she is a great one. Finding dresses that fit her correctly without too much adjustment is extremely hard because of her small frame. Despite her small body, she walks with her head held high--determined not to appear weak.

secrets~
She's only told one person, her friend Bernice that works in the tailor's shop with her, of this secret. Her friend suggests she should be getting over it, seeing as it happened over a year and a half ago. Though she doesn't know how. She believes the person that violated her will always haunt her, will always cause her nightmares that she wakes up screaming to every once in awhile. It happened a while ago, when she was in a hospital, no less, where she should have been getting better. She wouldn't have even been there if it wasn't for her brother pushing her around when he gets drunk and angry from loosing at the ponies.
overall personality~ Serina is quite a shy person when first introduced. It takes a lot for her to break out of her shell in front of others. She doesn't really go out looking for friends, though she wished she had more. She envys those who can easily make friends. She pretty much sticks with Bernice at the tailor shop. It's hard for her to automatically trust someone. Especially when it comes to men. Before, when she was younger, it was easier to trust--she definitely grew up fast. She does get frustrated easily, but she is definitely not impatient. Never is she impatient with others. She desperately tries not to anger or bother anyone at all. It might be the fact that she is on the smaller side that her flight response comes naturally to her over the fight one. She is quite helpful and tries to give aid to those who need it around the tailor shop--that's where her life revolves around. Everyone is pleasant there. Serina doesn't like it when others worry about her, especially when it comes to her health. She knows she isn't taken very good care of herself and she hates it when others--including Bernice--point it out. She's very modest, and would rather stay silent than lie out-right. She's very mindful of her manners and tries to be pleasant. Rina can be easily influenced when coaxed. She would rather hide and read a book, or stock things in the back of the tailor shop than deal with customers. Though she normally has to greet customers because she's a better seamstress than Bernice. Her skills almost match the owner. She's worked hard to get where she's at.
``evidence~
hometown~ London
current town~ London - 234A Baker Street
parents~ Stuart Lantabellum Sr., Jane Lantabellum. (Both deceased)
siblings~ Stuart Lantabellum Jr.
pets~ none
other relatives~ She has an aunt somewhere, though she doesn't really know her.
history~ Serina Lantabellum pleasantly remembers when her father and mother were both alive. Her father was able to keep her older brother in line when he began gambling and drinking. She matured late and only started thinking about life beyond her home in London in her very late teens. Unfortunately, her mother grew ill when Rina turned 20. She was kept busy caring for her mother for barely over a year when she died. It tore her father apart. Serina always thought her father was strong-willed. She barely saw him shed a tear before her mother's death. He, too, began drinking. He missed when his son began blaming Serina for mother's death. Telling her she didn't care for mother enough or for something else. Her father died about a year and a half after her mother. She believes from grief. But his grief is what lead him to commit suicide. Her father left almost everything in his son's name, but left some money aside for his daughter. Unfortunately, a male living relative has to get her expenses for her--which leaves her drunken, gambling brother.
He didn't start hurting her until a while after her father passed. He would come home after loosing a great deal, get drunk, and start screaming after her. It took him a long while for that to escalate to pushing her around into things. The first time he really hurt her, pushed her into their expensive glass end table that belonged to their mother, she went to the hospital. She stayed overnight--they thought there could be something more wrong with her head. That was the worst night of her life. She believes the person that violated her will always haunt her. It changed her whole personality. For the longest time she locked herself inside her room. It was even harder for her to come back to the tailor shop. Though she was glad, after a while, that she did. She was able to deal with strangers again, but in a safe place--that was out of her home. She began getting better and the nightmares only came every once in a while. She was able to deal with life again.

rp sample~ The fear within Alexis was growing even greater, the last time she had been in this place was over a year ago. She didn't have fond memories, not that anyone would. Ally's strawberry blond hair was just past her shoulders and was actually brushed out, her bare feet were cold, and her boy's pants fit around her tightly. At the moment her wrists were bond by rope, which rubbed against her skin making it raw. She was just behind the velvet curtain that she would be pushed out though on stage. The place was filthy and smelt of mildew, which didn't make very much sense. Weren't they trying to keep the slaves clean? More money to be made. She tossed her hair behind her freckle-covered shoulders and thought about her life up until now. She was always a shy girl, easily influenced, but always having to be coaxed to doing anything--and then being sold off made it worse. From her own family no less. This place made it worse. She rarely ever laughed anymore--that was her favorite thing to do. Laugh. She looked over her shoulders at the other people, slaves in cages. She hated cages. She was fortunate enough that her previous owner didn't keep his slaves in cages. But now she was being sold, off to someone new. Her green eyes clouded over as tears began to surface. She hated crying, she just cried last night. The memories flashed into her mind uninvited.
--*--
Ally ran...fast...she felt the tall grass brushing against her feet and ankles, tickling her skin. The cold tears were sliding from her face, making her cheeks turn red. She looked up at the dark, night sky--not slowing down. Her light-red hair bellowed behind her. The stars weren't a comfort to her tonight. She finally slowed when she came upon a large, oak tree. She leaned against it as sobs racked through her small-framed body. She slid down and sat on the grass, her bare feet cold against the wet dew. She pulled her knees up and hugged them, she felt the pant material beneath her fingers. She tried taking a deep breath and smelt a fire not to far away. Whenever Ally tried to calm herself more tears came and her body shook violently with sobs. She couldn't quiet herself. Flashes kept coming up uninvited in her mind of what had just happened. Her owner has never hurt her before, though she has only seen him a couple of times--and of course always with another person. Normally with those that were consider 'higher' than her. Tonight, when someone told her he was looking for her, she went alone---dumbly. Apparently he's moving, and is going to sell off most of his slaves--he just wanted to 'try her out' before he sold her. At first she was confused--mainly because she has little 'dense' moments--but when she figured out his 'gist', she tried to run away. He, of course, grabbed her and proceed to take away her virginity. She normally didn't cry, she hated when others see her in a vulnerable state. But at this moment, right after being raped, who wouldn't? At the moment she didn't know what to do. She just wanted to be in the arms of her best friend, and in the room she was assigned too. Ally knew now that she would have to leave this place soon. She remembered her first owner, and had to admit that the one she was with now was better. She wondered what her next owner would use her for. She shuddered when she even thought about it. Ally began to cry when the cold air swept around the leaves in the tree above her.
--*--
All Ally wanted was to be back in the courtyard of her old home, where the trees grew huge and there were places to hid. She believed herself dumb. She should have ran before this. That's the first thing she'll do when she has the chance. Run until she can't any longer, go anywhere. Someone would have to take her in, someone would help her.
anything else~ My RP sample was of a character I had in a different rp, but I adjusted her a little to fit in this Holmes one. ^.^ I would still be rping with Ally if the site didn't close down. I hate it when that happens, but that was a long time ago. I haven't rped in over a year. >.<
